나는 여호와를 우러러보며

나를 구원하시는 하나님 바라보나니

나의 하나님이 나에게 귀를 기울이시로다

 

내가 엎드러질찌라도 일어날 것이요

우겨쌈을 당하여도 싸이지 않으며

답답한 일 당하여도 낙심치 않으며

박해를 받아도 버린바 되지 않으며

거꾸러뜨림을 당하여도 망하지 않으며

 

십자가 죽음을 내 몸에 짊어짐은

주님의 생명도 내 몸에 나타냄이라

 

우리 겉사람은 낡아지나

우리 속사람은 날로 새로워지네

보이는 것은 잠깐이요 보이지 않는 건 영원해

 

내가 엎드러질찌라도 일어날 것이요

사망은 내 안에 역사하게 되고

생명은 네 안에 역사하게 됨이라

As for me, I will watch in hope for my Lord

I will wait upon my God the One who saved me from my sin

And my God will hear me listen to my cry all of my days He will

Even if I may fall, I will rise

every side hard pressed, but not crushed

Though I may be stressed and perplexed, I will not be despaired

Although I've been persecuted, He's never let me go

Though I've been struck down, I'm never destroyed

I carry the death of Christ Jesus so that He may

His life may be revealed within my body and my life

 

Though we outwardly are wasting away

Yet we inwardly- are day by day being renewed

what we see in this life's/ momentary, but eternal is what is unseen

Even if I may fall, I will rise

every side hard pressed, but not crushed

But in you life's at work, God is working in your life
